One ordinary morning, my husband went for a run in the hills with our dogs. In an instant, the life we'd built — the structure, the future we assumed — was gone. Overnight I became the sole provider, the decision-maker, the one holding the finances and the grief and the children all at once. There was no onboarding. No manual. Just loss and responsibility, arriving on the same day.
I learned to ask better questions, to build a team I could trust, to keep moving when moving felt impossible. Slowly, I built something new. Now I walk alongside women doing the same brave, ordinary work of beginning again.
